The Dow Jones 30 continues to see a lot of noisy behavior, but in the early hours of Tuesday it appears that the buyers are trying to get the rally going yet again. Remember, we are in a massive rotation of stocks from tech to just about anything else.

Dow Jones Technical Analysis

The Dow Jones 30 initially fell a bit during the early hours on Tuesday, but it looks like we are starting to lift a bit right before New York opens. So, it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out. All things being equal, we are in an uptrend,  so it does make a certain amount of sense that we eventually take off to the upside.

The Dow Jones 30 has seen a bit of a boost due to the idea that rotation is happening in the stock market a lot of traders are starting to get away from the high flying tech stocks and jumping into the Dow Jones 30 as a way to take advantage of interest rates dropping and the idea of course that infrastructure builds will be coming. If that actually happens, the idea is that people will be looking for proven winners, and of course there will be spending on construction – something this index can cover.

With that being said, it has thrown the markets into a little bit of disarray in the sense that we aren’t necessarily chasing a market that is all about two or three stocks, it actually is starting to become more of a stock pickers market. And right now, industrials seem to be one of the biggest winners. Keep in mind that this is also the earning season going on right now. And with that, you can expect a certain amount of volatility.
