The three big stocks: Telsa, Microsoft, and Meta all have earning calls after the bell during the Wednesday session. It is also worth noting that the Fed has an interest rate decision in the afternoon as well.

In this article:

TSLA Technical Analysis

Tesla looks like it’s going to open up ever so slightly lower, at least that’s how it’s behaving in pre-market trading. But really, it’s not a huge surprise as we do have an earnings announcement after the bell on Wednesday here. So, I think you have to look at technicals and understand that we’re right here at the 50 day EMA bouncing from it and the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level.

The earnings estimate is 77,5 cents. Revenue is expected to be about $27.26 billion. Obviously, the better the earnings report, the higher this thing will launch, and of course, vice versa. If it does fall, the $360 level, of course, is crucial.

MSFT Technical Analysis

The Microsoft market looks a bit flat in the morning. We also have earnings coming out after the bell, and it is expected to be an earnings estimate of $3.11, with revenue coming in just under $69 billion. You can see that in the last couple of days there has been a massive turnaround from that sell-off on Monday, and it does look like a market that wants to go higher, but obviously the estimates can come into the picture and cause chaos as well. This looks like you could probably file it under the heading, buy on the dip.

META Technical Analysis

And finally, Meta does look like it’s going to rally a bit right off the get-go here on Wednesday. We have the earnings call later in the day. The estimate is for $6.76, roughly and the revenue estimate is right around $47 billion. Short-term pullbacks here, I think, are also buying opportunities.

It is a little extended, so unless the earnings call really blows things out of the water, it’s probably something that you want to be a little bit patient with and try to find a bit of value. Maybe it sells off during the day, something along that lines.
