Armenia Interest Rate

The central bank of Armenia kept its benchmark interest rate at 6.75% during its March 2025 meeting, marking its first pause since the easing cycle began in June 2023. Policymakers also maintained the deposit rate at 5.25% and the lending rate at 8.25%. This decision came as the country's headline inflation surged to 2.5% year-on-year in February, the highest level in nearly two years, though still well below the regulator's 4% target.
