The number of unemployed individuals increased by 6 thousand from the previous month to a three-year high of 392 thousand, while employment declined by 4 thousand to 9.811 million. The labor force participation rate remained unchanged at 76%, the highest in six months. Meanwhile, 190 thousand people received unemployment benefits during the period. In February 2024, the jobless rate was 0.1 percentage points lower to 3.7%.
