Netherlands Unemployment Rate

The Netherlands’ seasonal adjusted unemployment rate stood at 3.6% in July 2024, remaining unchanged for the third consecutive month. The number of unemployed individuals stood at 370 thousand, while employment fell by 13 thousand to 9.803 million. The labor force participation rate edged down to 76% in July from 76.1% in the preceding month. Meanwhile, there were 164 thousand current recipients of unemployment benefits during the period. In July 2024, the seasonally adjusted jobless rate was also at 3.6%.
