Colombia Unemployment Rate

The unemployment rate in Colombia dropped to 9.1% in December 2024, down from 10% in the same month last year, although rebounding from the lowest level since late 2015 of 8.2% in the previous month. The employed population increased by 100,000 reaching 23.621 million year-on-year. The labor force participation rate increased to 64.4% from 63.8% a year earlier, while the employment rate rose to 58.5% from 57.4%.
