Estonia Business Confidence

In Estonia, the Business Climate Indicator measures the current situation of the businesses and its future prospects. The survey is made by phone and covers 1,810 companies in the country. The questionnaire focuses on: production trends in recent months, order books, export order books, stocks and production expectations. The indicator is computed through the estimation of a factor-model and summarizes the information contained in the surveys. A rise in the indicator will point to an upswing in activity and an improvement in the business climate.
