Greek's adjusted unemployment rate ticked down to 9.6% in November 2024, from 9.8% in the previous month, as the number of unemployed persons fell by 11.9 thousand from a month earlier to 454.7 thousand. Among genders, the jobless rate for women (12.6%) was higher than that for men (7.2%). Meanwhile, employment rose by 6.1 thousand to 4.286 million. The number of persons outside labor force, i.e., persons underage of 75 who neither work nor look for a job, rose by 15.8 thousand month-over-month to 3.026 million.
