Hungary’s trade surplus widened to EUR 903 million in January 2025 from EUR 560 million in the same month last year, as exports rose much faster than imports. Year-on-year, exports increased by 3.8% to EUR 11,947 million, while imports grew by 0.8% to EUR 11,044 million. The share of EU member states was 76% in exports and 70% in imports.
