Ireland’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate ticked down to 3.9% in February 2025 from 4% in the previous month. The number of unemployed persons declined by 5.6 thousand month-over-month to 111.5 thousand. The jobless rate for both men (3.8% vs 4%) and women (3.9% vs 4%) edged lower. Meanwhile, among individuals aged 25-74 years, the jobless rate ticked lower to 2.8% in February from 2.9% in the previous month.
