Russian Federation Government Budget Value

The Russian Federal Government recorded a budget gap of RUB 2.17 trillion in the first three months of 2025, or 1.1% of the GDP, widening sharply from RUB 0.61 trillion in the same period a year ago, according to preliminary data from the finance ministry. Spending during this period amounted to RUB 11.22 trillion while revenues totaled RUB 9.05 trillion. Russia is targeting a fiscal deficit of 0.5% of GDP, or RUB 1.17 trillion compared to a shortfall of RUB 34 billion, or 1.7% in 2024.
