Taiwan Unemployment Rate

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Taiwan edged down to 3.35% in February 2025 from 3.37% in the previous month. This marks the lowest level since last July, as the number of unemployed persons fell by 2 thousand from a month earlier to 403 thousand, while employment increased by 13 thousand to 11.618 million. In the meantime, the youth unemployment rate, measuring job seekers between 20 to 24 years old, ticked higher to 11.33%, up from a nearly nine-year low of 11.14% in January. The labor force participation rate slightly grew to 59.36% from 59.31% in the prior month.
