The annual inflation rate in Tunisia eased to 6.6% in November 2024, after remaining steady at 6.7% for the previous three months, reaching its lowest level since December 2021. Price increases slowed for food and non-alcoholic beverages (8.5% vs 9.3% in October) and transport (3.2% vs 3.3%). Meanwhile, inflation rates for housing (4.1%), clothing (9.5%), health (8.7%), and recreation and culture (7.3%) remained unchanged. However, prices for restaurants and hotels rose at a faster pace (11.8% vs 11.1%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices edged up 0.1% in November, following a 0.8% increase in the previous month.
