Latest Updates
The annual inflation rate in Ukraine rose to 13.4% in February of 2025 from 12.9% in the previous month, a ninth consecutive increase to its fastest pace in nearly two years. The rise was consistent with the National Bank of Ukraine's warning that increasing inflation expectations are likely to drive price growth to higher levels than expected. Inflation was elevated for housing and utilities (19.3%) as Russian attacks on Ukrainian natural gas producers and electricity grids drove power prices to sore by 63.6% annually, in addition to food and non-alcoholic beverages (15.2%), and transportation (11.1%). From the previous month, Ukrainian consumer prices rose by 0.8%.
