Core producer prices in the United States, which exclude food and energy costs, rose by 0.2% over a month in November of 2024, down slightly from a 0.3% increase in October and matching market expectations. It was the smallest increase in core producer prices in four months. On an annual basis, core producer inflation stood at 3.4% in November, the highest since February 2023, matching a revised figure in October and exceeding market estimates of a 3.2% rise.
