Latest Updates
US export prices rose by 1.3% in January 2025, the most since May 2022 and much bigger than market expectations of a 0.3% increase. Nonagricultural exports rose 1.5%, the most since August 2023, as higher prices for nonagricultural industrial supplies and materials, capital goods, consumer goods, and nonagricultural foods more than offset lower prices for automotive vehicles. Meanwhile, agricultural export prices declined 0.2%, as lower prices for nuts, meat, fruit, and vegetables more than offset higher corn prices.
