Vietnam Tourist Arrivals

International arrivals to Vietnam rose by 36.9% year-on-year, reaching a record high of 2.07 million in January 2025, following a 27.4% rise in the previous month. Visitors from Asia grew by 42.8%, mainly led by Cambodia (168.6%), China (137.4%), Philippines (104.9%), Laos (99.4%), Japan (19.3%), and Taiwan (8.5%). Additionally, arrivals from America grew by 23.1%, specifically from Canada (32.7%); while those from Europe jumped by 22.9%, particularly from Russia (116.8%), Norway (35.6%), Sweden (31.8%), Poland (29.3%), and Germany (22.9%). Moreover, tourists from Australia rose at a slower pace by 7.1% from 38.9% formerly. Meanwhile, arrivals from Africa declined by 2.2%.
