Britain’s Mondi temporarily suspends plant in Ukraine

(Reuters) - British paper and packaging firm Mondi has temporarily shut its industrial bags plant that employs about 100 people in Lviv in the west of Ukraine due to Russia's invasion of the country, a spokesperson told Reuters via email.

(Reuters) – British paper and packaging firm Mondi has temporarily shut its industrial bags plant that employs about 100 people in Lviv in the west of Ukraine due to Russia’s invasion of the country, a spokesperson told Reuters via email.

“Given the situation we have temporarily suspended our operations at the site to prioritise the wellbeing of our 100 colleagues who work there. We continue to monitor events.”
