Sam: Good morning, Joe. Thank you for joining us today. Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got to become a Country Manager with 4XC?

Joe: Well, I have been involved with 4XC as an IB for quite a few years now, and I have had a successful journey early on, to be honest. I managed to bring high revenue quite soon and also funnel many clients from my region. I have to admit I was interested immediately.

Sam: So what is exactly a ‘Country Manager’?

Joe: A ‘Country Manager’ is a senior-level executive responsible for managing and growing the business operations of a forex company in a particular region or country.

It is a crucial role, responsible for driving growth, building relationships with clients, managing local teams, and ensuring that the company is compliant with local regulations. Having worked with my region for an extended period, I am deeply invested in staying updated with all the news and developments related to it. This includes closely monitoring the newsfeed for any relevant information. As a result, I am well-informed about the market influencers, various venues, and significant events that shape the region’s landscape. My continuous engagement and awareness allow me to navigate the market effectively and make informed decisions.

Sam: Sounds pretty important! How does one become a ‘Country Manager’?

Joe: That is a good question. To become a ‘Country Manager’ you need some skills, like being a natural leader and being able to organise and manage a group of people. Usually, people that become Country Managers are already experienced IBs with 4XC for a long time.

Sam: I see. So, do you apply for this position or do you get chosen?

Joe: Actually, both are possible. In any case though, only if you have had a substantial experience as an IB and a successful record are you then eligible to become a Country Manager. I’ll give you an example: Let’s say someone becomes an IB and during his first six months he manages to bring high amounts of revenue to the company and has an increasing number of clients (at least over 200 let’s say). Then he can either reach out to us and apply if he is interested or we can also contact him and suggest for him the position.

Sam: Yes, I can see that there are some strong requirements for this role. So, if you manage to become a Country Manager, what do you gain from this position?
