Brazil IPC-Fipe Inflation MoM

Consumer prices in Sao Paulo, Brazil's most populous city, rose by 0.80% month-over-month in October 2024, the most since April 2022, following a 0.18% increase in the prior month. Upward pressure stemmed primarily from prices of food (1.34% vs 0.39% in September); personal care (0.87% vs 0.27%); housing (0.82% vs 0.05%), health (0.60% vs 0.75%) and clothing (0.47% vs 0.29%). Additionally, prices rebounded slightly for transportation (0.22% vs -0.24%).
