France Foreign Exchange Reserves

Official reserve assets in France rose for the third consecutive month, reaching a fresh record high of €305.12 billion at the end of March 2025, from €295.98 billion in the previous month. This represents a rise of €9.14 billion, primarily due to an increase in gold reserves (€226.082 billion vs €215.197 billion in February). However, declines were recorded in foreign currency reserves (€32.664 billion vs €33.395 billion), claims on the IMF (€39.952 billion vs €40.830 billion), and other reserve assets (€6.426 billion vs €6.562 billion).
