Latest Updates
Slovakia’s construction output rose 2.4% year-on-year in November 2025, slowing from 3.7% in the previous month. This marked the softest growth in construction activity since a decline in April, mainly driven by a sharp drop in domestic production (-1.0% vs 2.5% in October), particularly in new construction (-2.3% vs 2.6%) and buildings (-3.5% vs 6.2%). However, within domestic output, repairs and maintenance work increased (8.5% vs 5.8%) and engineering construction rebounded (0.6% vs -4.5%). Meanwhile, construction abroad surged 30.5% from 13.6% in the previous month. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, construction output increased 3.5% in November.
