The unemployed population fell by 0.6%, driven by a 1.1% drop in job seekers. For women, unemployment rose to 9.3% (+0.3 pp.), as the labor force grew by 0.6%, exceeding the 0.4% rise in employment. For men, unemployment dropped to 7.7% (-0.4 pp.), with employment rising 1.4%. Employment grew 0.9%, mainly in transportation (+7.9%), finance (+17.2%), and public administration (+4.9%), driven by formal salaried jobs (+3.2%).
