Mexico's unemployment rate edged up to 2.6% in November 2024 from 2.5% in October, remaining below market expectations of 2.7%. Among men, the jobless rate increased slightly to 2.6% from 2.5%, while for women, it rose more noticeably to 2.8% from 2.5%. The number of unemployed individuals reached 1.6 million. Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate fell to 60% from 60.2%, with the economically active population falling to 61.6 million.
